The shops at Douglas Loop and Bardstown Rd. in the Highlands. The trolly tracks may be covered but Bardstown Rd. remains a busy avenue for shopping and entertainment. The black and white photo was taken in 1936.  It is used with permission from the University of Louisville Photographic Archives.

    Please slow-down the transition from the old to the new (Douglass Loop). I would love to spend a little time looking at the old Loop.
